Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum five years operations experience in petrochemical or refining industry
  • One to two years project management experience preferred
  • Must possess a TWIC card
  • Current driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 300 feet
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Good driving record
  • Safety certification(s) a plus
  • Commitment to personal and others safety
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Ability to conduct safety training

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum five years operations experience in petrochemical or refining industry
  • One to two years project management experience preferred
  • Prior experience managing safety attendant services is a plus
  • Analytical skills to evaluate data and manage programs
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Ability to write effective correspondence and presentations
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety compliance regulations
  • Experience with behavioral-based safety techniques
  • Good driving record
  • Safety-oriented attitude
  • Experience conducting safety training or presentations

Job Duties

  • Provide operational oversight of designated project including company asset management, collaboration with the sales group, and project profitability
  • Establish expectations and standards for customer service, operational readiness, and safety
  • Ensure company compliance for quality, safety, training, and operations
  • Provide weekly revenue and expense forecasting to corporate management
  • Collaborate with HR and Operations on staffing plans, hiring, and training schedules
  • Investigate incidents on site with Safety Department
  • Oversee project timekeeping and cost tracking including managing timekeeping systems and client reporting
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for project personnel
  • Ensure equipment readiness by managing PPE requirements
  • Perform employee performance evaluations
  • Coordinate use of personnel with General Foremen
  • Manage layoff schedules and terminations
  • Support development of additional revenue opportunities
  • Report financial, headcount, and operational issues daily to Director of Operations
  • Maintain integrity and professionalism
  • Support special assignments as directed
