Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in a related engineering curriculum preferably mechanical engineering
- exposure to heavy manufacturing environment desirable
- must be a us citizen at time of hire
- capability to take technical leadership role
- ability to work cohesively with individuals from various disciplines
- must have knowledge of manufacturing processes
- must be able to provide a copy of college transcript
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- knowledge of heat transfer and thermodynamics
- proficiency in machine design and structural analysis techniques
- understanding of vibration and materials science
- excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- experience with ERP systems preferred
- strong technical leadership skills
- ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
- familiarity with manufacturing processes
Job Duties
- support new design and resolve engineering issues during manufacturing
- perform and review structural engineering calculations
- review drawings and prepare bills of materials
- prepare detailed engineering documentation including technical reports
- direct drafting personnel and coordinate with quality control
- attend meetings with customers and suppliers
- complete special assignments as required
