Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering or related experience
  • Proficiency with federal, state, and DoD engineering regulations
  • Strong documentation and technical review skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of OSHA and local safety requirements
  • Willingness to conduct site visits and travel as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is highly desired
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering or related fields
  • Proficiency in Federal, State, and DoD engineering regulations
  • Strong competency in preparing, reviewing, and evaluating technical documentation
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Compliance with OSHA and local safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare and oversee project documentation including RFIs, material submittals, and construction requests
  • Review and provide solutions to ensure safe, effective, and economical use of materials
  • Aid in technical design reviews ensuring compliance with ANG design policy and applicable codes
  • Collaborate with Facilities Management Officer staff and Design Working Group members
  • Conduct site visits and perform surveillance of construction projects for adherence to schedules, specifications, and safety standards
  • Document inspections and provide findings to the 158 CES staff
  • Develop cost-effective designs for local sustainment, repair, and maintenance projects
  • Perform technical design to produce drawings, specifications, and statements of work
  • Attend pre-solicitation site visits and provide technical reviews
  • Manage construction observations and coordinate operation and maintenance training for renovated systems
  • Prepare accurate project documentation and submittals
  • Conduct technical reviews of design documents
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards and codes
  • Perform site investigations and design cost-effective solutions
  • Manage project timelines and safety compliance
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
