Job Requirements
- Experience in building and warehouse cleaning and maintenance work
- Knowledge of proper floor care techniques for various floor types such as vinyl, tile, carpet, concrete, hardwood
- Ability to travel and drive to various work sites
- Ability to work nights, days, and weekends
- Present and maintain a valid driver license
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling sheets generally in English, with possible Spanish variants where required
Job Qualifications
- Experience in building and warehouse cleaning and maintenance work
- Knowledge of proper floor care techniques for various floor types including vinyl, tile, carpet, concrete, and hardwood
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical handling documents
- Valid driver license
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and weekends
Job Duties
- Clean hard surface floors including sanitizing, scrubbing, stripping, and finishing
- Scrub and burnish special floor surfaces such as gymnasium floors
- Steam-clean or shampoo carpets
- Extract carpet using carpet extractor
- Wash windows
- Pressure wash floors and buildings using pressure washer
- Perform minor wall repairs
- Gather and empty trash
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate tools
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
- Notify managers about the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
- Provide backup support for crew members in other territories as needed
- Drive to various sites, occasionally requiring overnight shifts
