Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of hospital project management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
  • Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and stoop occasionally
  • Flexible schedule availability including some weekends and overtime
  • Ability to work with a variety of people at different organizational levels

Job Qualifications

  • Four-year degree preferred
  • Minimum two-year hospital project management experience
  • Proficient typing and advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • High tolerance for task interruption and stress
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse groups of people

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and maintain support for all hospital buildings and spaces
  • Support design and layout of public and office spaces in collaboration with architects
  • Maintain condition of patient rooms through regular rounding, lighting, and upholstery inspections
  • Manage furniture replacements, repairs, and warranties
  • Plan and coordinate logistics for pre-construction and post-construction activities
  • Organize and maintain warehousing and storage areas for equipment and furniture
  • Provide clerical and administrative assistance including invoice processing, maintaining personnel files, and scheduling hazardous waste pickups
