Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years administrative experience
  • Experience in commercial construction preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with computer systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Willingness to engage with students
  • High level of integrity and professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in commercial construction
  • Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) certification is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint (MOS Certification preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with computer systems and office technology
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team
  • Willingness to engage with students and serve as a positive role model
  • High level of integrity and professionalism required

Job Duties

  • Perform administrative duties and tasks for multiple capital projects simultaneously
  • Maintain accurate records and track project documentation from planning through close-out
  • Support the Capital Review Committee with scheduling, documentation, and reporting
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for PeopleSoft and Construction Management Software
  • Assist Project Managers during the close-out phase, including financial reconciliation and documentation
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and create reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Handle electronic filing, contract and purchase order data entry, and office management duties
  • Identify and resolve workflow issues to ensure smooth project execution
  • Provide high-quality customer service and collaborate effectively across departments
