Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- experience in commercial or residential solar, BESS or EVSE projects
- strong communication skills
- organizational and multitasking ability
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ability to work onsite in Los Angeles or San Diego offices three days per week
- local to the office location
- ability to assist in field support activities
- interest in renewable energy and construction
- problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Renewable Energy, Business Management or relevant experience in commercial or residential solar, BESS or EVSE
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- excellent problem-solving, team development, and critical thinking skills
- high level of integrity with strong emphasis on making and meeting commitments
- high sense of urgency with excellent organizational skills and drive to meet deadlines
- strong interest in construction and renewable energy installations
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- knowledge of Gantt Chart, CRM, Smartsheet, Procore, ClickUp and Salesforce is a plus
- NABCEP PV Associate Certification is a plus
- OSHA 30 is a plus
Job Duties
- Evaluating and finding solutions to potential problems during project implementation
- planning and managing team goals, project schedules, and new information
- coordinating team members to keep workflow on track
- managing project-related paperwork and materials
- preparing and reviewing project proposals
- managing memos, meeting minutes, and correspondence
- applying for ministerial permits and liaising with townships for permit approvals
- preparing meeting presentations for large portfolio and non-portfolio clients
- assisting Project Managers with purchase orders and budget items
- assisting with preparing bid packages and subcontracting
- interfacing with vendors and other related third parties
- providing feedback to improve company protocols, installation practices, and company growth
- breaking down a project into timed phases with deadlines
- identifying and finding solutions to potential project setbacks
- decision-making for procurement, subcontracts, and risk management
- assisting with field operations management
- assisting with third-party on-site inspections
- providing desk and field support to Project Managers and execution team members
