Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Champion a corporate culture emphasizing transparency, integrity, safety, environmental responsibility, employee development, diversity and inclusion, customer service, and operational excellence
  • Follow all company safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Cleco safety manual
  • Model and promote ethical business conduct and compliance with laws, rules, and regulations
  • Ensure distribution facilities meet applicable codes and regulations using code books
  • Provide accurate cost estimates to support Distribution Planning, Governmental Service, and Business Development departments
  • Meet with customers to plan new service and lighting installations
  • Collaborate with engineering staff and other departments to complete project tasks and meet milestones
  • Create job packets following Electric Service Standards and Cleco Distribution Construction Manual for proper construction designs and materials
  • Verify designs with ArcFM Design Tool for accurate system mapping
  • Oversee construction crews to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
  • Provide information to acquire necessary right-of-way, permits, and cost details
  • Ensure timely work order completion following work management procedures
  • Investigate and resolve multiple outage issues
  • Assist with service restoration activities including circuit patrol, damage assessment, and contractor crew supervision
  • Manage Joint Use transfers in area of responsibility
