Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of two years of experience in relevant field
  • Experience in international student advising or programming preferred
  • Proficient in social media platforms and event marketing tools
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other creative software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and events
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work onsite in Dallas, Texas

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience required
  • Experience working in an International Office or similar advisory role desired
  • Knowledge of popular social media platforms and event promotion via social media required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, DocuSign and other marketing software
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute orientation for international students, coordinate logistics including pre-arrival materials and video content
  • Develop, coordinate and execute about 60 events annually to support student transition and professional development
  • Lead and manage the International Leadership Program including designing curriculum and mentoring student leaders
  • Gather and analyze feedback from participants to assess program effectiveness and prepare reports
  • Support outreach to new undergraduate foreign national students and provide academic support
  • Collaborate with student leaders and campus partners to enhance engagement via social media and promotional strategies
  • Manage event budgets ensuring programs are executed within financial parameters
  • Plan and execute events for International Education Week with campus department collaboration
  • Support Associate Director with supervising international student leaders and student workers
