Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • valid driver's license
  • current proof of insurance
  • clean driving record for at least three years
  • ability to lift up to 45 pounds occasionally
  • ability to perform physical activities including pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs occasionally
  • ability to use office equipment and computer systems
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations
  • willingness to work second and third shifts as scheduled
  • ability to work flexible hours including on-call and holidays
  • ability to handle crisis and emergency situations with good judgment
  • must maintain personal Christian faith and uphold organization's values

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED
  • associate degree preferred
  • previous experience in Christian recovery environment preferred
  • maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and acts as a witness
  • Christ-centered and compassionate attitude
  • ability to handle crises with calm and clear judgment
  • trustworthy and reliable
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • knowledge of addiction and recovery preferred
  • ability to honor and uphold leadership and mission
  • organized with security and protocol
  • street knowledge and understanding of anger management preferred
  • computer literate
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred
  • basic math skills
  • two years of sobriety required if in recovery
  • flexible schedule including on-call and holiday availability

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with Hope Program staff to establish and implement policy and procedures advancing the Hope Program and safety
  • provide support, encouragement, and accountability for clients in line with program policies and client core values
  • build relationships with clients for spiritual support including prayer
  • monitor client attendance and compliance with program schedules
  • collect, input, and safeguard all client data according to privacy and IT requirements
  • uphold Hope Program policies, administer urinalysis and breathalyzer tests as needed
  • submit daily reports documenting activities and incidents
  • contact supervisors for unresolved altercations or dismissals
  • provide medication access and monitoring following Addiction Recovery Service procedures
  • respond to and manage disputes and emergencies effectively
  • conduct routine and random checks of client dorms and belongings
  • maintain orderliness and oversee chore schedules for cleanliness and safety
  • complete incident reports as necessary
  • collaborate with security teams on safety systems
  • perform fire and security rounds
  • maintain awareness of evacuation plans and coordinate with departments
  • attend all required meetings and stay informed through regular email reviews
  • operate vehicles for client transportation adhering to licensing and insurance requirements
  • support and assist volunteers in their service
  • comply with management-directed duties changes as needed
