Job Requirements
- Masters degree or above
- license required
- independent license preferred
- experience in a psychiatric setting required
- training and experience in exposure-based cognitive-behavioral therapy necessary
- continuing education or in-services in specialty areas required
- experienced in group and individual psychotherapy
- interest and commitment to Butler Hospital programs
Job Qualifications
- Masters degree or above
- experience in a psychiatric setting
- training and experience in delivering exposure-based cognitive-behavioral therapy
- experience with specialty areas such as OCD, anxiety, and hoarding
- continuing education or in-service training in relevant therapy areas
- experienced in providing group and individual psychotherapy
- interest and commitment to the programs at Butler Hospital and Brown University Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior
Job Duties
- Complete initial psychiatric and behavioral evaluations as assigned by the Program Manager
- evaluate and diagnose a wide range of psychosocial problems
- apply individual and group cognitive-behavioral interventions
- assist patients and families in resolving personal and environmental problems related to psychiatric issues
- demonstrate ethical and collaborative behavior to ensure quality of care
- promote positive department and program relationships
- support patient stabilization and wellness improvement efforts
