Job Requirements

  • Masters degree or above
  • license required, independent license preferred
  • experience in a psychiatric setting
  • training and experience in delivering exposure-based cognitive-behavioral therapy
  • experience providing group and individual psychotherapy
  • interest and commitment to the programs at Butler Hospital and the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown

Job Qualifications

  • Masters degree or above

Job Duties

  • Completes initial psychiatric and behavioral evaluations as assigned by the Program Manager
  • evaluates, diagnoses, and treats psychosocial problems using individual and group cognitive-behavioral interventions
  • assists patients and families in resolving psychiatric and environmental issues affecting psychosocial functioning
  • collaborates ethically and positively with staff to ensure quality of care
  • participates in multidisciplinary team activities to improve patient outcomes
  • documents patient progress and treatment plans accurately
  • supports program development through active engagement and feedback
