Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables, charts, nested IF formulas
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience with technical and non-technical teams
  • 3+ years professional experience in relevant fields including health and safety or contractor management
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to relocate to corporate office in Bellevue (SEA94 preferred), Nashville (BNA12), or Washington D.C. (WAS19)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level including pivot tables, charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
  • 3+ years professional experience in health and safety, finance, procurement, supply chain management, project or contractor management, contractor safety, engineering, or direct oversight of third-party services or contractors
  • Experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience in stakeholder management at various organizational levels
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
  • PMP certification
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
  • Familiarity with AI principles including prompt engineering for day-to-day tasks

Job Duties

  • Own and drive safety programs from inception through implementation
  • Own safety related projects and deliver associated actions including executive-level communications
  • Assess contractor high-risk operations such as work at heights, hazardous energy, lifting and rigging
  • Serve as a trusted safety partner to senior regional leaders across North America
  • Conduct regular site visits to Amazon warehouse locations to observe safety practices and gather frontline feedback
  • Develop and update safety standards, protocols, and training materials
  • Lead comprehensive incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to scale safety initiatives and embed sustainable improvements
  • Monitor safety metrics, analyze trends, and recommend priorities to senior leadership
