Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years in Public Safety or Emergency Management
  • Proven leadership in program management
  • Experience managing external vendor teams
  • Knowledge of ICS/NIMS and emergency protocols
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% domestically and internationally
  • Ability to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work environment
  • Ability to collaborate with legal, product, and policy teams

Job Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Public Safety or Emergency Management
  • Proven track record in program oversight and strategic operations
  • Experience managing vendor or external teams for educational programs
  • Deep knowledge of US first responder and public safety protocols (ICS/NIMS)
  • Exceptional communication skills for executive-level reporting
  • Strong cultural competence within the Public Safety sector
  • Collaborative approach to risk management with cross-functional teams
  • Preferred 5+ years in leadership roles overseeing training or outreach initiatives
  • Experience scaling programs across diverse geographic and regulatory environments
  • Technical literacy of autonomous vehicle systems and national roadway safety standards
  • Experience developing metrics to prove ROI of safety outreach
  • Skills in identifying operational training gaps and pivoting program strategies
  • Experience in high-growth technology environments

Job Duties

  • Drive the strategic vision and operational excellence of the Public Safety Outreach program
  • Manage and optimize a vendor-based team of First Responder Ambassadors
  • Scale the certification and quality assurance process for the Ambassador program
  • Establish a data-driven framework to measure training effectiveness
  • Oversee the strategic roadmap for industry event participation
  • Develop scalable program playbooks and internal policies for communication with public safety officials
