Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 10+ years of experience in public safety or emergency management
  • Experience managing vendor or external teams
  • Knowledge of ICS/NIMS protocols
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally
  • Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Ability to work in a hybrid role
  • Legal, product, and policy collaboration experience
  • Ability to develop data-driven frameworks
  • Experience with program certification and quality assurance

Job Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in public safety or emergency management
  • Proven track record in program oversight, strategic operations, or specialized training units
  • Extensive experience in vendor or people management
  • Deep knowledge of US first responder and public safety protocols including ICS/NIMS
  • Exceptional communication skills for translating program success to executive stakeholders
  • Strong cultural competence within the public safety sector
  • Collaborative approach to risk management
  • Preferably 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale training or outreach initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience scaling programs across diverse geographies and regulatory environments
  • Strong technical literacy regarding autonomous vehicle systems and national roadway safety standards
  • Track record of developing metrics demonstrating ROI of safety outreach
  • Experience identifying operational training gaps and pivoting strategy
  • Experience in a high-growth technology environment

Job Duties

  • Drive the strategic vision and operational excellence of the Public Safety Outreach program
  • Manage and optimize a vendor-based team of First Responder Ambassadors
  • Scale the certification and quality assurance process for the Ambassador program
  • Establish a data-driven framework to measure training effectiveness
  • Oversee the strategic roadmap for industry event participation
  • Develop scalable program playbooks and internal policies
  • Ensure effective communication with public safety officials
