Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 10 years program performance and management related experience
- PMI certification preferred
- Successful track record managing complex aerospace and defense programs
- Understanding of DoD vision and evolving capabilities
- Dynamic and energetic leader
- Experience with earned value cost accounting and reporting
- Ability to coordinate and work with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Active Secret security clearance preferred or ability to obtain
- High-energy and self-driven
- Team-oriented personality
- Must be U.S. citizen
- Eligible for DoD security clearance

Job Duties
- Develop a trusted relationship with the customer and understand their mission and program requirements
- Take ownership of program performance including schedule and cost
- Communicate program status accurately to leadership and program team
- Direct all program phases including design, development, production, and sustainment
- Lead the program team and hold them accountable to performance
- Develop concepts for growth and enhancements based on customer needs
- Support program growth initiatives including bid and proposal activities
- Establish a program organization that addresses customer requirements and stakeholder needs
- Develop and implement plans and schedules to execute contracts and control budgets
- Maintain and monitor the program integrated master schedule
- Identify program issues and direct resource allocation to resolve them
- Develop corrective action plans and seek management assistance when needed
- Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks throughout the program life cycle
- Maintain financial forecasts and report progress against objectives
- Serve as the primary customer interface for contract execution and coordinate with other departments for contract issues
- Ensure coordination across multiple programs and product lines
