Job Requirements
- Meet all qualification requirements including education if applicable
- Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements for current federal employees
- Successfully undergo a thorough background investigation including review of felony convictions and controlled substance use
- Meet residency requirement of having physically resided in the US or protectorates for at least three of the last five years unless eligible for an exception
- Serve a one-year probationary period if newly appointed to federal government
- Disclose any current or former political appointment as required
- Submit all required supporting documents with the application
Job Qualifications
- Possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12 level
- Experience in completing program objectives and supervising program milestones
- Expertise in resolving complex planning and resource allocation issues
- Proven ability to formulate and direct program administrative strategies
- Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, project control, purchasing, logistics, security, and IT support processes
- Strong analytical and advisory skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats
Job Duties
- Complete program objectives and goals
- Supervise and advise the sequence and timing of key program events and milestones
- Evaluate program accomplishments
- Resolve broad and complex planning, evaluation, control, and resource allocation problems
- Provide authoritative advice to management on resource use or procedural changes
- Formulate and direct strategies for program administrative processes including programming, financial management, budget planning, project control, purchasing, logistics, security, and IT support services
