Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 1 year of relevant job-related experience
- strong organizational skills
- proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- knowledge of project management or database tools
- ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
- willingness to follow security and background check protocols
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of experience in administrative, logistical, or event coordination roles preferably in an arts or university setting
- strong organizational and time-management skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and database or project management tools
- graphic design experience is a plus
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Plan and develop procedures for administering the Public Art department
- manage fiscal activities including procurement and budget analysis
- provide guidance and evaluate performance of subordinate staff
- prepare abstracts, research reports, funding proposals, and other documentation
- create and review reports of expenditures and activities
- administer grants, scholarships, and related communications
- develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures
- serve as property custodian for the department if required
- manage scheduling, communications, budgeting, and record-keeping for Public Art UHS
- assist with care and administration of the art collection and exhibitions including condition reports and logistics
- support planning and logistics for programs, meetings, and events
- staff events as necessary
- create digital and print marketing content
- prepare presentations and publications to promote programs
- facilitate communication between campus partners, community members, and the Public Art team
- perform related duties as assigned
