Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a culinary arts, food science, or product development program
  • Basic culinary skills
  • Knowledge of food science and process development
  • Ability to use Microsoft Suite
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to work full-time onsite during the summer internship period in Knoxville, Tennessee

Job Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year program in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or Product Development
  • Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food science and process development
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite
  • Strong collaboration, written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset
  • Strategic thinker with big-picture perspective

Job Duties

  • Support the full development cycle
  • Conduct research with the innovation team
  • Develop prototypes with the product developer and R&D Chef
  • Test and analyze products with innovation and insights teams
  • Provide strategic insights to enhance development and stage gate processes
