Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus one (1) year of related experience
  • Vista values the work experience of applicants and therefore, may waive the bachelor level of educational requirement of a position in lieu of a strong work background in a related field
  • Valid driver’s license plus a safe driving record

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in counseling or case management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized program plans
  • Knowledge of social, vocational, life skills, and community involvement areas
  • Competency in record keeping and documentation
  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record

Job Duties

  • Developing written program plans (IPP’s and IP’s) for each member that evaluates progress, determines individual’s goals and identifies programmatic service needs
  • Implementing systems which support each assigned member’s programmatic and individual goals that address four main areas: social/emotional, vocational, life skills, and community involvement
  • Providing individual and family counseling for members
  • Communicating member needs, issues and goals to all staff members and other involved parties
  • Maintaining all necessary records and documentation, including monitoring students medical, wellness and financial needs
