Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus one (1) year of related experience
- Vista values the work experience of applicants and therefore, may waive the bachelor level of educational requirement of a position in lieu of a strong work background in a related field
- Valid driver’s license plus a safe driving record
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in counseling or case management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized program plans
- Knowledge of social, vocational, life skills, and community involvement areas
- Competency in record keeping and documentation
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
Job Duties
- Developing written program plans (IPP’s and IP’s) for each member that evaluates progress, determines individual’s goals and identifies programmatic service needs
- Implementing systems which support each assigned member’s programmatic and individual goals that address four main areas: social/emotional, vocational, life skills, and community involvement
- Providing individual and family counseling for members
- Communicating member needs, issues and goals to all staff members and other involved parties
- Maintaining all necessary records and documentation, including monitoring students medical, wellness and financial needs
