Job Requirements

  • a firm commitment to the mission of BYU
  • associate degree or other post-secondary education
  • 2+ years experience in an office environment
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with high proficiency in Excel
  • knowledge of Google Drive, Sheets, and Forms
  • efficient and accurate data entry skills
  • high degree of written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to keep information confidential

Job Qualifications

  • associate degree or other post-secondary education and 2+ years experience in an office environment
  • proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel
  • skilled in Google Drive, Sheets, and Forms
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • familiarity with BYU systems including AIM, faculty profile, and Learning Suite preferred
  • bachelor’s degree and more than 2 years’ office experience preferred

Job Duties

  • coordinate undergraduate research award submissions and updates
  • review and evaluate undergraduate research proposals
  • monitor compliance for research awards
  • collect and verify data for student wage processing
  • manage key and card access including communication and record keeping
  • oversee TA award finalist selection and approval
  • coordinate annual university report compilation
  • maintain major email lists and assist in event coordination
  • manage undergraduate advisement appointments and scheduling
  • support department chairs with faculty stewardship interviews
  • provide administrative support for faculty activities
