Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent education
  • two years of administrative experience
  • must pass conditional post offer background investigation and drug screen
  • must possess and maintain valid CPR certification
  • ability to work in office environment with potential exposure to infections blood and contagious diseases
  • ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • maintain regular and punctual attendance

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent education
  • two years of administrative experience
  • associate's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience
  • bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for two years of experience
  • bilingual fluency and proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
  • must possess and maintain a valid CPR certification
  • proficiency in computer use including Microsoft Office and various software packages
  • excellent customer service skills
  • strong multitasking and time management skills

Job Duties

  • perform confidential administrative functions including developing and typing correspondence
  • respond to routine external correspondence
  • prepare memos and reports
  • prepare budget adjustments purchase requisitions payment requests and other department forms and documents
  • answer telephones handle calls route to appropriate individuals or take messages
  • ensure community partners customers vendors and employees are handled in a professional and courteous manner
  • prepare and maintain department activity and event lists and distribute as required
