Job Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Minnesota Class D driver’s license
  • minimum two years of experience in program coordination, facility operations, or community outreach
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals of all ages
  • proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a professional setting
  • ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • physical ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
  • availability to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to drive city vehicle to remote events

Job Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid Minnesota Class D driver’s license
  • 2+ years of experience in program coordination, facility operations, community outreach or similar experience
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • previous experience working with children, youth, or adults in a community or educational setting
  • strong leadership and mentoring abilities
  • knowledge of community resources and local partnerships
  • proficiency with technology, including registration software or virtual program platforms

Job Duties

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily programming in all designated facility spaces
  • schedule and communicate with contracted employees, instructors, and volunteer groups hosting programs or events
  • coordinate reservations and ensure proper facility usage for public and private events
  • provide excellent customer service by sharing facility information, responding to inquiries, and resolving concerns
  • enforce facility rules and safety guidelines to maintain a secure, respectful, and inclusive environment
  • supervise, train, and support part-time staff to ensure efficient operations and positive customer experiences
  • monitor program budgets, oversee revenue collection, and approve program-related expenses
