Job Requirements
- Must reside within Washington State preferably in assigned communities
- Valid Washington State driver’s license and reliable vehicle with insurance
- Ability to fulfill travel requirements across regional geography
- Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday including some weekday evenings
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within three months
- Satisfactory results from criminal background check
- Willingness to maintain Girl Scout membership
- Must be able to work in GSWW office or alternative worksite when requested
Job Qualifications
- One or more years of experience in a relevant area
- Experience in an office or administrative setting
- Strong commitment to Girl Scouts of Western Washington’s mission and vision
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize deadlines, and work independently
- Interest in aviation, aerospace, or space science
- Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Salesforce, and other database programs
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage virtual events on platforms like Zoom and MS Teams
- Able to lift or carry up to 40 pounds with or without accommodations
Job Duties
- Supports the Program Manager by coordinating aviation and space science program event logistics including calendaring and venue management
- Builds and manages events in Salesforce and Hybris
- Monitors registration statistics and demographics
- Prepares rosters and processes program evaluations
- Works with marketing tools such as Canva for programming and event promotions on social media
- Manages and maintains Aerospace Program supply and material inventory
- Tracks usage of program supplies to ensure timely ordering and delivery for workshops
- Coordinates with program partners to gather and distribute workshop materials
- Assists with implementation and delivery of aviation and space science program events in virtual and in-person settings
- Assists in development of program curriculum and lesson plans with engaging content
- Seeks subject matter experts and role models to supplement programming
- Develops and nurtures program partnerships
- Collaborates with Community Development Managers for recruitment activities
- Works with Outdoor Program Department to integrate aviation and space science programs into camps
- Manages cases and events in Salesforce and Hybris
- Implements DEIRJB platform focusing on at-risk and underserved populations
