Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Food Handler's Certification or ability to obtain within two weeks
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance and transportation required
- Ability to move 35lbs repetitively and frequently stoop, bend and crouch
- Must pass pre-employment screening
- Ability to work flexible hours and last-minute schedule changes
- Ability to operate general office equipment and computer programs
Job Qualifications

- Ability to work with and coordinate volunteers
- Strong organizational, record keeping, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse populations including minority, low income and persons with disabilities
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with client data management systems a plus
- Ability to repetitively move 35lbs and move cooler and cooler bags
- Ability to ascend stairs and move on city sidewalks
- Ability to adapt to last-minute changes
- Ability to follow safety and operational standards
Job Duties
- Perform Meals on Wheels delivery duties for routes lacking volunteer coverage in assigned service area
- Ensure the proper packing and on-time delivery of meals to program participants by following all standards
- Follow up with participant if driver is unable to deliver the meal
- Redeliver meals as necessary
- Assist with re-packing of bulk food items for distribution to families
- Assist with client eligibility assessments and annual reassessments as needed
- Assist with volunteer coordination as needed
- Complete administrative tasks as assigned
- Participate in in-service training and attend required meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
