Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of prior relevant experience or master’s degree with 2+ years of prior relevant experience
- excellent written communication skills
- ability to communicate to various levels of management
- strong organizational skills
- experience in budget adherence
- ability to organize meetings with diverse stakeholders
- high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
- experience with editing and proofreading official documents
- must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Security clearance
- position requires in-person support five days a week at FAA’s Regional Office in Anchorage, Alaska
- no telework or remote option available
Job Qualifications

- excellent written communication skills including proofreading and editing official documents
- ability to communicate with various levels of management
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- experience with budget adherence and organizing meetings with diverse stakeholders
- high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
- must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Security clearance
- preferred experience in federal government contracting
- preferred working knowledge of FAA systems
- preferred working knowledge of Adobe and SharePoint
Job Duties
- serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders across the region and other federal agencies
- directly responsible for the business operations of the Alaskan Regional Office including meeting facilitation and logistical coordination
- support executives and technical actions for FAA administrators and staff including logistical support and administrative briefings
- develop and finalize official documents for the Region's Chief Administrative Officer and external stakeholders including congressional hearings
- utilize internal systems such as SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, E2, and Concur to manage workflows and communication
- coordinate and manage domestic and international travel arrangements including processing country clearances and travel authorizations
- conduct in-depth research to support FAA staff with special projects and routine tasks
