Job Requirements
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level
- Knowledge of military command structure and operational programs
- Ability to apply analytical techniques to program evaluation
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Federal time-in-grade requirement of one year at GS-12 grade
- Demonstrated experience in leadership and project management
- Ability to work within federal agency guidelines and policies
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 level or equivalent
- Expert knowledge of qualitative and quantitative assessment methods
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal administrative laws, policies, and regulations
- Familiarity with DoD and Air Force planning and acquisition processes
- Strong analytical and evaluative skills
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to lead teams and negotiate program changes effectively
Job Duties
- Apply expert knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods to assess and improve command plans and military operations
- Evaluate effectiveness of mission and flight operations including tactical airlift and deployment activities
- Analyze program goals, operational sequences, and timing of key military events
- Develop and conduct studies for improving program operations and organizational productivity
- Prepare and review acquisition documentation including Statements of Work and contractor evaluations
- Lead projects and negotiate with management to implement program recommendations
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to gain cooperation using tact and diplomacy
