Job Requirements

  • Degree in hospitality, events management, or related field
  • M.A. or M.B.A. required
  • Ph.D. preferred
  • Demonstrated teaching effectiveness
  • Professional experience in hospitality or events management
  • Ability to maintain the security and integrity of university infrastructure
  • Successful background check
  • Valid driver’s license and Motor Vehicle Record verification as applicable
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Possess a degree in hospitality, events management, or a related field
  • Hold an M.A. or M.B.A. degree required
  • Ph.D. preferred
  • Demonstrate teaching effectiveness
  • Show professional experience in hospitality or events management
  • Maintain the ability to secure university infrastructure

Job Duties

  • Oversee the Hospitality and Events Management program including curriculum development
  • Coordinate student internships and practical training opportunities
  • Collaborate with community and industry partners to enhance program offerings
  • Ensure compliance with university policies regarding security and infrastructure integrity
  • Support students through advising and mentoring
  • Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to program assessment and improvement plans
  • Engage in professional development to maintain currency in hospitality and events management practices
