Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional cooking experience with demonstrated expertise in Indian and/or Mediterranean cuisine
  • Strong understanding of spices, herbs, and authentic cooking techniques
  • Proven ability to manage a busy kitchen and lead a team
  • Creativity and passion for developing unique, flavorful menus
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Food safety and sanitation certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and present high-quality Indian and Mediterranean dishes with consistency and creativity
  • Develop and update menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative ideas
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including food prep, cooking, plating, and presentation
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to uphold quality and efficiency
