- Attention to detail in cleaning and maintaining equipment and workspace
Job Duties
- Set up the Den for service daily by preparing teas, iced coffee, and other beverages that can be completed before service
- Bake Danish pastries
- Make sandwiches and salads
- Set up fruit cups for service
- Organize products and supplies for daily service
- Service customers as they come into the Den
- Handle cash register duties including counting cash, taking cash from customers, and making change
- Create coffee and other beverage orders
- Take inventory at the end of each day
- Report to the Chef regarding any needs the Den may have
- Clean up the Den at the close of business including wrapping syrups, organizing the refrigerator, rotating milk, and cleaning the refrigerator bottom
- Flush the espresso machine bi-weekly in coordination with the lab technician to ensure proper machine function
- Restock all cups, lids, napkins, cup sleeves, and coffee supplies for the next business day
- Organize the North Hall storage area and maintain inventory
