Job Requirements

  • Ged or equivalent education
  • 1-2 years of experience in import/export operations with emphasis on air freight
  • knowledge of customs regulations and documentation
  • strong organizational skills
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to use Microsoft Office and logistics software
  • capacity to multitask and work independently
  • detail-oriented with problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • Ged or equivalent education required
  • minimum of 1-2 years of experience in import/export operations, with a focus on air freight
  • basic knowledge of customs regulations, import documentation, and compliance requirements
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software (e.g., Webcargo, Cargowise, etc.)
  • ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and manage the importation of air freight shipments from origin to destination
  • ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and documentation requirements
  • communicate with airlines, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth import operations
  • prepare and review import documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists
  • track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
  • provide exceptional customer service by keeping clients informed of shipment status and addressing any concerns
  • maintain accurate records of import transactions and update internal systems as needed
