Job Requirements
- Ged or equivalent education
- 1-2 years of experience in import/export operations with emphasis on air freight
- knowledge of customs regulations and documentation
- strong organizational skills

- detail-oriented with problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- Ged or equivalent education required
- minimum of 1-2 years of experience in import/export operations, with a focus on air freight
- basic knowledge of customs regulations, import documentation, and compliance requirements
- strong organizational and time management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software (e.g., Webcargo, Cargowise, etc.)
- ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
Job Duties
- Coordinate and manage the importation of air freight shipments from origin to destination
- ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and documentation requirements
- communicate with airlines, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth import operations
- prepare and review import documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists
- track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
- provide exceptional customer service by keeping clients informed of shipment status and addressing any concerns
- maintain accurate records of import transactions and update internal systems as needed
