Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1-2 years of general work experience
  • prior warehouse, production or equipment service experience preferred
  • forklift certification is a plus
  • continuing education to maintain certifications and knowledge of applicable laws
  • must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • exposure to high noise levels and fast-moving equipment
  • ability to work overtime and occasional weekends
  • ability to use personal protective equipment as required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1-2 years of general work experience
  • prior warehouse, production or equipment service experience preferred
  • ability to operate manufacturing equipment
  • ability to operate a manual or powered pallet jack or lift product
  • must be detail oriented, dependable, and responsible
  • ability to adapt to change in the workplace
  • effective verbal communication skills
  • willingness to make timely decisions and exhibit sound judgment
  • demonstrated commitment to quality and safety practices

Job Duties

  • Operate and monitor equipment efficiently and replenish materials as needed
  • transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area
  • set up machinery ensuring all production materials are available
  • visually inspect production run and document results
  • determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties
  • responsible for meeting productivity requirements
  • complete required paperwork as directed
  • analyze production line to identify areas for continuous improvement
  • adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards
  • maintain cleanliness of production area and keep all work areas clean through good housekeeping
  • operate forklifts in a safe manner
  • conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment
