Job Requirements

  • High school graduate preferred
  • Graduate of approved culinary program preferred
  • One year of experience in a food production environment with responsibility of food production and cooking
  • Ability to read, interpret, and expand recipes
  • Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for entire shift
  • Ability to perform bending and stretching activities
  • Ability to work in environments with exposure to heat and cold
  • Ability to safely handle kitchen tools and equipment

Job Duties

  • Read, interpret, and expand recipes
  • Prepare and cook food products according to specified recipes and standards
  • Handle kitchen equipment safely including ovens, mixers, and knives
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen work area
  • Lift and move heavy stock and ingredients up to 50 pounds
  • Follow food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with Chef Manager or designee to ensure timely and quality food production
