Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- One year of experience in food production and cooking
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds
- Familiarity with kitchen safety protocols
- Ability to work under supervision of Chef Manager
- Willingness to work in environments with exposure to heat and cold
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate preferred
- Graduate of approved culinary program preferred
- Ability to read and interpret recipes
- One year of experience in a food production environment
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hazards
- Competence in handling kitchen equipment safely
Job Duties
- Read and interpret recipes
- Prepare and cook food according to guidelines
- Handle kitchen equipment safely including ovens and mixers
- Manage heavy lifting and moving of carts
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Follow blood borne pathogen protocols
- Assist Chef Manager as needed
