Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to grip and push/pull 2 to 3.5 inch thick stock 80-120 times per hour
  • Ability to lift 20-30 lb stacks 60-80 times per hour
  • Frequent lifting of 40-60 lbs throughout shift
  • Ability to constantly stand, walk, twist, bend, and reach overhead
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand/wrist motion and fine motor skills
  • Ability to work full-time on assigned shift with flexibility for overtime
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear required protective equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn and perform multiple assignments across departments
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams
  • Basic knowledge of quality control processes
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development
  • Certification or ability to be certified in operating power lift equipment

Job Duties

  • Prepare greeting card stock for cutting
  • Jog, skid, and move stock to the cutter
  • Carry stock to skids and move finished skids to outgoing area
  • Perform make-ready, run, monitoring and maintenance on equipment
  • Remove die cut cards using hammer or Automatic Card Extractor
  • Perform quality sampling and stacking of cards
  • Mix adhesives and perform quality tests
  • Assist press operators with setup, changeover, adjustments, and maintenance
  • Order and move stock in production areas
  • Perform paperwork related to stock movement
  • Pack finished goods on packaging line
  • Identify and resolve production issues
  • Operate Gem/Cello machine, wholesale sealer, accumulator and shrink tunnel
  • Operate lift truck and maintain stock records
  • Participate in performance dialogues and team problem-solving
  • Utilize good safety practices and ensure clean, safe work environment
  • Complete regular equipment maintenance including TPMs
  • Transport and handle hazardous waste following regulations
  • Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork
  • Communicate effectively with next shift to ensure consistency
