Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or related operations experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in an operations supervisory or management role in manufacturing
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable and punctual attendance
- Computer usage and typing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and customer service focus
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments within instructions and standard practices
- Effective verbal and oral communication skills
- Collaboration skills and proactive contribution to group objectives
Job Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years supervisory or management experience in manufacturing

Job Duties
- Understand, follow and enforce all established safety, health, quality GMP and company policies, procedures and recognized practices
- Exercise authority and independent judgment on the shift regarding personnel actions including hiring, transfer, suspension, layoff, recall, promotion, discipline and adjustment of complaints
- Manage shift functions such as training, development, safety, security, quality, inventory, housekeeping and general management of company policies
- Resolve production and quality problems promptly and perform frequent product quality checks
- Provide shift documentation on decisions, issues, actions and status updates for compliance and continuous quality improvement
- Attend and conduct production and safety meetings as required
- Review and authorize time records for employees on the shift
- Manage temporary staffing assignments to meet plant production and labor objectives
- Oversee machine utilization to meet or exceed efficiency goals and recommend necessary personnel, maintenance or engineering changes
- Develop new methods and procedures to optimize manufacturing efficiency, maximize labor utilization and reduce operating costs
- Assist management in reviewing shift operations and recommend changes in operations, staffing, equipment and procedures
- Participate in all physical inventories per company procedures
- Maintain a supportive and productive work environment through professional conduct and effective communication
- Participate in job safety training and follow plant rules to ensure a safe work environment
- Execute leader standard work daily
- Travel up to 25% as required
