Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four to six years of relevant production or manufacturing experience
- Strong communication skills including ability to lead difficult conversations
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capability to work in non-air-conditioned environments with proper safety equipment
- Ability to read and follow written procedures accurately
- Physical ability to work off ground level with safety protocols
- Commitment to compliance with safety standards and regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four to six years of production experience, preferably in food processing or fast-paced manufacturing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with KRONOS is a plus
- Ability to lead and coach teams effectively
- Demonstrated competency in managing operational activities
- Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Win the shift by ensuring adherence to world-class standards for quality, efficiency, and safety
- Foster a culture of associate engagement by respecting, including, and empowering all associates
- Uphold and promote E5 Leadership Behaviors including Embrace the Consumer, Ensure Operational Capabilities, Empower and Involve, Engage and Develop, and Expect Ownership and Accountability
- Identify issues, assign actions to team members, and follow up to completion
- Coach associates towards independent problem-solving
- Collaborate across departments to solve issues and ensure production schedules are met
- Prepare shift priorities and communicate important issues with appropriate team members
- Deliver on key performance indicators for people, quality, safety, service, and cost
- Engage and develop associates through onboarding, training, coaching, and performance feedback
- Achieve all safety goals and ensure compliance with workplace standards and regulations
- Ensure product quality by advising on formula and process adjustments
- Lead the team to achieve production schedule attainment and on-time shipping
- Ensure cost efficiency by reducing waste, minimizing downtime, and managing staff scheduling successfully
- Utilize tablets and applications like SOMAX, Rever, Shift Guides, and Intelex to support process efficiency
