Job Requirements
- Education equivalent to four year college degree preferred
- Prior supervisory experience in manufacturing and union settings required
- Ability to lead, train, and develop teams effectively
- Must ensure employee and product safety
- Physical capability to stand, walk, lift up to 100 pounds, and perform sensory evaluations
- Compliance with company policies and safety rules
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in noisy, mechanically active, and outdoor environments

Job Duties
- Responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures regarding safety, operating methods, and behavior
- Ensures all supervised employees comply with company and governmental regulations
- Reviews results by analyzing information and taking steps to improve outcomes
- Trains new and existing employees on operating and safety procedures
- Prepares work schedules and expedites workflow with Production Manager
- Maintains proper plant cleanliness at all times
- Inspects products for specification conformance and adjusts machines
- Recommends improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and product quality
- Reviews production schedules to plan department operations
- Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities
- Develops or revises standard operating practices and ensures compliance
- Reviews reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems
- Handles worker grievances or escalates them to Production Manager
- Compiles and retrieves production data
- Follows up on all customer requests and ensures satisfaction
- Treats all customers with respect, courtesy, and kindness
- Upholds company policies and values
- Exercises responsibility regarding the impact of actions on customers and the company
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety rules
- Exemplifies BakeMark core values of partnership, performance, passion, and initiative
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet company goals
