Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0 - 3 years of general work experience
- Experience in food production or manufacturing environment
- Ability to operate cleaning and sanitation machinery
- Ability to read and understand safety data sheets
- Physical capability to lift and move equipment and chemicals
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in physical science and/or food industry experience preferred
- 0 - 3 general work experience required
- Experience working in food production or manufacturing environment
- Ability to operate various equipment
- Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets
- Forklift certification a plus
Job Duties
- Clean interior and exterior of processing and manufacturing equipment
- Prepare sanitation chemicals and equipment
- Ensure all necessary caps are in proper locations
- Set up equipment in preparation for use by manually lifting and moving equipment and/or chemicals
- Assess and rectify problems on all equipment
- Read, understand and follow standard operating procedures
- Train new team members
- Communicate with management on daily basis
- Create work orders when needed or assigned by supervisor
- Maintain sanitation supply inventory
- Review daily CIP chart data
