Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Physical capability to perform tasks including lifting up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Willingness and ability to wear required personal protective equipment
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to work in ambient temperature conditions and around loud noise
  • Employees required to be clean shaven if respirator use is necessary
  • Must complete ADM safety, food safety, and environmental training
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs, walk extensively, and work at heights as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and company policies
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Basic computer skills for data entry
  • Experience in manufacturing or military environment preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to operate forklifts and industrial equipment preferred
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Strong fundamental skills in math, reading, and writing
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes

Job Duties

  • Maintain, monitor and adjust equipment
  • Utilize computer systems to input and record data related to safety, sanitation, maintenance and equipment operation
  • Perform production tasks such as weighing, bagging, packing, labeling and storing products
  • Sanitize the facility including sweeping and compressed air cleaning
  • Communicate with team members regarding equipment operation, safety concerns and product quality
  • Rotate through various positions within the department for cross-training and coverage
  • Operate forklifts and other production equipment
  • Adhere to safety, environmental compliance, and food quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace environment
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
