Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Physical capability to perform tasks including lifting up to 55 pounds
- Ability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Willingness and ability to wear required personal protective equipment
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to work in ambient temperature conditions and around loud noise
- Employees required to be clean shaven if respirator use is necessary
- Must complete ADM safety, food safety, and environmental training
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs, walk extensively, and work at heights as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow safety protocols and company policies
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Basic computer skills for data entry
- Experience in manufacturing or military environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to operate forklifts and industrial equipment preferred
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Strong fundamental skills in math, reading, and writing
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
Job Duties
- Maintain, monitor and adjust equipment
- Utilize computer systems to input and record data related to safety, sanitation, maintenance and equipment operation
- Perform production tasks such as weighing, bagging, packing, labeling and storing products
- Sanitize the facility including sweeping and compressed air cleaning
- Communicate with team members regarding equipment operation, safety concerns and product quality
- Rotate through various positions within the department for cross-training and coverage
- Operate forklifts and other production equipment
- Adhere to safety, environmental compliance, and food quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace environment
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
