Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- 3 months or more related experience in a commercial laundry or hotel industry
- Ability to understand, comprehend, and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and product labeling
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet required performance goals and objectives
- Ability to work in a team environment and alone
- Good communications, both orally and written in English
- Must have good attention to detail
Job Duties
- Feeding machinery with sheets, duvets, bathrobes, pillowcases, towels, tablecloths, napkins, mats
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized working station
- Ensure the linen being processed belongs to the account assigned
- Identify any damaged, dirty, or mixed linen and properly place it in the correct containers
- Maintain an average of 85% or above for production based on the IT system in place (Spindle)
- Must be logged into the IT system in place (Spindle) always while working on the machine
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
