Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2 years experience in position
- Experience operating aseptic machines
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule
- Ability to work in multiple areas of production with minimal supervision
- Ability to use computer systems such as Oracle/MES or current order management system
- Ability to communicate issues clearly and concisely
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Compliance with Niagara's safety protocols and food safety plans
- Ability to perform tasks like cleaning, inspections, and chemical concentration tests
- Ability to document production activities accurately
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2 years experience in position
- Experience operating aseptic machines
- Preferred 6 years experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment
- Preferred 6 years experience working in position
- Preferred 2 years experience managing people or projects
- Technical High School Diploma or GED minimum required
- Associate's Degree preferred particularly in Microbiology, Chemistry, or Engineering
- Preferred certifications include Yellow Belt, Aseptic Processing and Packaging, Better Process Control School
Job Duties
- Execute aseptic manufacturing processes in accordance with standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices
- Monitor all the Aseptic Block equipment Critical Control Points using a Human Machine Interface to ensure final product sterility is maintained
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Aseptic Block Equipment such as filling and blow molding machines, sterilizers, and filtration systems
- Perform routine equipment maintenance including cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating the Aseptic Block Equipment under Maintenance Technician supervision
- Follow Quality Control procedures for in-process checks, sampling, and inspections to ensure product quality and compliance
- Accurately document all production activities using software such as Presage and Infinity
- Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols such as Lock out Tag out, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and participating in safety training programs
- Comply with Niagara's Cost Control, Yield, and Employee Safety Policies
- Ability to work in multiple areas of production with minimal supervision and perform relief duties when required
- Communicate issues clearly and concisely
