Job Requirements
- High school education or GED preferred
- Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment beneficial
- Ability to lift and handle heavy items up to 45 pounds
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to rotate between jobs as needed
- Ability to learn operational procedures quickly
- Basic computer knowledge
- Willingness to adhere to all safety and quality standards
- Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation

- Basic computer skills for shipping software use
- Good recordkeeping and analytical skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely

- Willingness to work flexible shifts and rotate positions
Job Duties
- Rotate through various positions within the plant to facilitate receiving, sorting, washing, drying, ironing and loading linens
- Operate various production equipment safely and efficiently
- Sort returned soiled linen into correct classifications in Soil Operations
- Clean and prepare carts for clean linen loading
- Operate folding machines, ironers and build linen carts in Clean Operations
- Maintain quality standards by identifying defective linens and removing from production
- Prepare finished carts for shipment, operate scales and record shipping data
- Load delivery trucks and perform other duties as assigned
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards
- Communicate maintenance needs when equipment malfunctions
