Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Basic HACCP and GMP knowledge
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop
- Ability to climb ladder and platform if necessary
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow instructions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education, training, or experience (GED)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to read and write English
- Basic HACCP and GMP knowledge
- Previous food manufacturing experience desired
Job Duties
- Perform all phases of the mixing operation including knowledge of ingredient locations and types, measuring and weighing processes, reading and understanding batch tickets
- Make appropriate adjustments of water and yeast relative to temperature and humidity with minimal supervision
- Monitor dough quality, identify problems and make necessary adjustments
- Assist in training new mixer operators
- Stay up to date on new work methods and job procedures
- Assist in other work areas as directed by the supervisor
