Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 5 years’ experience in live event production management
  • ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
  • proficiency in Vectorworks and other event design software
  • excellent communication and client management skills
  • willingness to travel as required
  • ability to work in a hybrid environment based in Chicago, IL

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in theater or live events
  • over 5 years of experience in production management for live events
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and creative software such as Keynote
  • solid knowledge of technical aspects such as audio, video, lighting, and rigging
  • strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • ability to work under tight deadlines and manage quick turnarounds

Job Duties

  • Communicating effectively with clients and managing multiple shows simultaneously
  • overseeing the technical planning and execution of events, including scheduling and logistics
  • developing detailed budgets while ensuring cost efficiency
  • supervising freelance talent and ensuring smooth on-site operations
  • using Vectorworks for designing and diagramming event setups
  • coordinating audio, video, lighting, and rigging technical elements
  • managing travel requirements and logistics for event teams
