Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in event production, theater, communications, or related field or 4+ years of equivalent experience in event production or AV management
- Strong knowledge of audio, video, lighting, streaming, power, and rigging systems
- Proficiency with CAD software to design layouts and production plans
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Flexible and adaptable to changing client needs
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift 25-50+ lbs and work extended hours on-site at the Cleveland Convention Center
- Strong visual and auditory skills for assessing AV quality

Job Duties
- Lead, supervise, and motivate production crews to deliver world-class events
- Manage audio, video, lighting, streaming, rigging, and power systems for events of all sizes
- Oversee technical staff during installation, live show operations, and strikes
- Prepare and manage production budgets, making cost-effective, strategic decisions
- Partner with clients, vendors, and venue staff to coordinate all event logistics
- Attend client planning meetings, site surveys, and virtual prep calls
- Use project management software to track budgets, approvals, and updates
- Create and revise CAD-based drawings, room layouts, and production schematics
- Step into technical roles as needed to ensure smooth execution
- Follow strict safety standards to protect crew, clients, and guests
- Manage purchase orders, reconcile expenses, and ensure accurate event documentation
