Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven production management experience
- Experience with warehouse management systems
- Familiarity with FDA and OSHA regulations
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Leadership experience in a similar industry
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment
- Experience in fast-paced, 24/7 operational settings
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in leadership including integrity, ethics, and attitude
- Competent and comfortable with WMS systems, email, Microsoft Excel, and Word
- Organized and analytical thinker with strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Knowledge of codes, FDA laws, regulations, especially food safety, OSHA and health and safety
- Experience in food industry warehousing including cold and refrigerated environments
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with variable working hours
- Exceptional organizational skills for self and others
- Strong project management skills
- Proven record in training employees about safety and production
- Ability to coach and motivate employees

Job Duties
- Planning and organizing production schedules
- Assessing project and resource requirements
- Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
- Determining quality control standards
- Overseeing production processes
- Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to production staff
- Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free
- Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production
- Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
- Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
- Setting productivity goals for each production team
- Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
- Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff
- Works with the Safety Manager to maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with company and legal regulations
- Assist in ensuring that all teams and Team Members are utilizing the EOS model, are involved in a weekly meeting, quarterly check-in and have a "number"
- Celebrates wins with the team and encourages and recognizes those that successfully fulfill their duties and demonstrate the FreshOne Core Values
