Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- two or more years experience in plant production work
- certification to operate facility metal detector required
- ability to work flexible hours including covering shifts
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to follow safety and operational procedures
- good communication skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Two or more years' experience in plant production work
- ability to demonstrate competency in on-the-job activities
- strong communication skills
- ability to operate production equipment safely
- commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards
- completion of AIB Master Baker Correspondence Course preferred
- ability to work well in a team environment
Job Duties
- Assist supervisors in the operations of shift production
- ensure production employees are trained in equipment care and safe operation
- review records and procedures for proper use of time and materials
- perform continuous inspection of products to ensure quality standards
- ensure all equipment is in good operating condition
- promote positive relations and communication between departments
- operate metal detectors after full training and certification
- enforce safety policies and maintain a safe working environment
- cover shifts for absent employees when necessary
- plan and adjust work assignments to cover all production phases
- maintain cleanliness of work area
- ensure compliance with all company rules, policies, and procedures
- complete AIB Master Baker Correspondence Course
- perform other duties as directed by supervision
