Job Requirements
- HS diploma or GED
- Prior experience in the food industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
- Knowledge of safety programs
- Fork truck and stock picker certification
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- Fill in for supervisors on same or other shifts when they are absent, temporarily assume all responsibilities of supervisor except disciplinary
- Train to fill in for some or all other key positions on the shift such as machine operator, baker, packer
- Follow all SOPs and SSOPs to maintain consistent product quality
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely
- Lead and direct the team on daily tasks
- Coach new hourly employees on quality, safety, sanitation, productivity
- Ensure compliance with FDA health and OSHA safety regulations
- Setup production line and assist with production as necessary
- Achieve production targets
- Ensure team works safely
- Measure pretzels for correct bag sizes and ensure weights, seals, and box counts meet standards
- Report and address equipment malfunctions immediately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation up to standard at shift end
- Assist supervisor in tracking attendance and employee punctuality
- Perform daily quality inspections throughout processing, packaging, shipping, and warehouse areas
