Job Requirements
- Degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program preferred, not required
- Ability to drive and enhance a culture of food and workplace safety
- Minimum of 2 years Chef de Cuisine experience
- Culinary production experience
- Strong passion for great food and hospitality
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in computer and technical skills working knowledge of Google Suite tools
- Serving in a union environment is a plus
- ServSafe Certification preferred

Job Duties
- Manage workplace and food safety including allergen management
- Have a passion for quality food preparation and taste
- Manage high volume production schedule and facility
- Follow all menu and production/prep expectations and guides, opening/closing checklist, and responsibility guides
- Set an expectation of teamwork that is friendly and engaging
- Train and develop team members
- Ensure employee reviews, coaching sessions, and disciplinary actions are delivered in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure that all products and ingredients that are used are purchased following sector and Food Program purchasing standards and sustainability commitments
- Meet all timelines for payroll, service, accounts receivables, human resources, corporate office, and all other timelines given by partner and management
- Ensure that all hiring and training standards are met
